Beyond Mindset. Beyond the Stuck Point.
THE DIFFERENCE
Go deeper. Get unstuck. Expand what's possible.
Traditional mental performance coaching often focuses on strategies to improve confidence, focus, motivation, and mindset. And those tools have value.
But what happens when you know what to do, yet something inside you keeps getting in the way?
Maybe your body tightens under pressure. You hesitate when you used to react instinctively. Fear shows up after an injury. Or you find yourself stuck in the same frustrating performance pattern despite your best efforts.
Sometimes, these responses are automatic—shaped by past experiences, emotional learning, stress, and the nervous system's protective responses.
You can't always think your way out of a response that happens automatically.
That's where my approach is different.
Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms or changing thoughts, we explore what may be driving the response beneath the surface. Using brain and body based approaches, we work toward shifting those patterns and helping you access more of your natural ability.
BRAINSPOTTING
Go beyond the conscious mind.
What if the key to moving forward isn't trying harder to change your thoughts—but working with what's happening beneath them?
Brainspotting is an experiential, brain-body approach that uses eye position, focused attention, and awareness of internal sensations to support emotional processing.
It offers a different way to explore the internal responses connected to performance challenges—especially those that can be difficult to shift through positive thinking, visualization, or mental strategies alone.
For athletes, Brainspotting may be used to work with:
Performance anxiety, pressure, and fear of failure
Mental blocks, the yips, and performance slumps
Hesitation, overthinking, and self-doubt
Injury-related fear and loss of confidence
Perfectionism, frustration, and emotional setbacks
Confidence, focus, and access to desired performance states
Unlike approaches that rely primarily on talking or consciously changing your thoughts, Brainspotting invites you to notice and process what's happening within your system.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout the process.
The goal? To help you move beyond what's getting in the way, reconnect with your abilities, and get back to performing with ease and flow.
Brainspotting is one of the primary tools I use, alongside nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and other experiential approaches tailored to you.
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Your goals. Your game. Your next level.
No two athletes are the same. Neither are their stuck points.
Our 60-minute sessions are focused, collaborative, and built around you—your sport, your experiences, your challenges, and where you want to go.
We'll start by understanding what's happening in your performance, when the block shows up, and what you'd like to experience instead.
From there, we'll use Brainspotting and other brain-body approaches to explore the underlying responses and work toward meaningful change.
Some sessions may focus on a specific performance block, fear, or setback. Others may focus on strengthening confidence, developing nervous system flexibility, or expanding your ability to access a desired performance state.
This isn't about giving you another set of mental strategies to practice harder.
It's about creating the conditions for change—so you can spend less energy fighting yourself and more energy doing what you love.
Whether you're working through one specific challenge or looking for ongoing support as you pursue your goals, we'll tailor the work to your needs.
PERFORMANCE INTENSIVES
Go all in on what's holding you back.
Sometimes, a stuck point deserves more than an hour at a time.
Maybe you've been battling the same mental block for months. Maybe an injury has changed how you approach your sport. Maybe you're at a turning point in your athletic career, and you're ready to give this challenge the focused attention it deserves.
A Performance Intensive offers an extended, immersive opportunity to work on a specific issue without the usual start-and-stop of weekly sessions.
Rather than spreading the work across multiple appointments, we dedicate concentrated time to exploring the patterns, experiences, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to your performance challenge.
Using Brainspotting and other experiential approaches, we create space for deeper exploration, processing, and integration—while working at a pace your system can comfortably manage.
This isn't about pushing harder. It's about giving yourself the time and space to go deeper.
An intensive may be a great fit if you're:
Facing a persistent performance block, the yips, or recurring fear
Struggling to regain confidence following an injury or setback
Feeling stuck in patterns that haven't shifted with traditional mental performance strategies
Preparing for a significant transition or next level of competition
Ready to dedicate focused time to your performance and personal growth
An intensive isn't a guaranteed shortcut or a promise of instant results. It's a different format for doing focused, individualized work—with time for preparation, processing, and integration.
You've invested countless hours developing your physical game. Imagine what becomes possible when you give the internal side of performance that same level of attention.
